With its versatile 31 x 31 cm (12.2 in) square flat-panel digital detectors, the Innova IGS 630 biplane system is designed to support a variety of neurointerventional and body imaging procedures. It is designed from the ground up to provide the image clarity you need while helping you keep dose as low as possible.
It includes features like Dose Personalization1, which gives you the tools to choose from up to four automatic exposure preferences for your system2. You can also modify any of these preferences3 in any clinical protocol to enable multi-procedure, multi-user customization and thus support well-informed decisions.
The system features Innova CT HD, GE's next generation of 3D imaging, providing fine image details for visualizing soft tissues and small devices such as intracranial stent struts. With the new generation of GE's advanced interventional imaging software solutions, ASSIST, you can expand your clinical versatility and successfully plan, guide and assess increasingly sophisticated procedures with greater precision and dose efficiency.
Superb image quality with high Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE)The proprietary angiography flat-panel detector offers one of the industry’s highest ratings for Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE), a parameter internationally acknowledged as an index of detector performance in contrast-and dose-limited imaging performed in clinical studies. High DQE enables better-quality images at the same dose, or the same quality image at a lower dose.
Optimal detector size adds clinical versatilityWith a choice of 2 square panels (20.5 x 20.5 cm (8.1 in), or 31 x31 cm square (12.2 in), we have the size you need to achieve all kinds of interventional procedures.1
Offset C-armWith its unique offset C-Arm, the Innova IGS 6 enables improved access to patient head in complex interventions and helps cover head to groin without moving the gantry.
Clear access to patients during interventionsThanks to the exclusive design of the C-arm, you get unrestricted access to the patient’s head for anesthesia and nursing. In addition, the C-arm design allows you to perform 3D rotational acquisitions of the spine and torso as well as patients’ head while intubated.
One-hand full biplane controlWith the SmartBox, drive with one hand: the frontal, lateral and both planes simultaneously, both detectors as well as the table longitudinal and lateral panning.
Accelerated gantry motions and faster positioningSensors on the frontal plane positions the frontal detector automatically to avoid collisions with patient and the other plane.4
Simple, centralized, automated controlsControl your system and images with integrated, intuitive tableside controls. With simple menus, the Central touchscreen lets you control most system functions, configure the system, modify imaging parameters, control your large display monitor, 1 and manipulate advanced applications – all at the tableside. The comfortable, easy-to-grasp control knob makes it easy to pan the table, position the gantry, and perform procedures.
Lower dose by designGE designs systems from the ground up with the tried and trusted GE imaging chain, optimized to provide the image clarity you need while helping you keep dose as low as possible. Our dose-reduction features empower you to easily optimize and personalize dose settings from the tableside, while maintaining clinical details you need to make well-informed decisions. But improving dose management takes a strategy – what we call the GE Blueprint. It includes low-dose imaging technologies for minimally invasive procedures, but also considers the people, culture and processes around them.

Vessel ASSIST4 for Aneurysm Treatment with Flow Diverter
Segment and size the anatomy of interest smoothly. Plan the stent positioning on the 3D model and prepare 3D landmarks to help guide the deployment.
Import segmented anatomy, centerline & landmarks and overlay them on live fluoroscopy on the frontal or lateral plane.
With 3D CTHD and virtual dilution5 visualize the relationship between your device and vessel with robust image quality and without changing your contrast injection protocols.
Vessel ASSIST4 for AVM treatment
With 3D CTHD and split phase6 visualize arterial & venous phases & details on cross sections to help analyze the complex anatomy of AVMs. On the AW, semi-automatically track vessels & plan their embolization.
Import segmented anatomy, centerline and landmarks and overlay them on live fluoroscopy on the frontal or lateral plane.
Visualize the embolized vessels in 3D and their relationship to the other structures with 3D CTHD subtracted.
In clinical use, the results of the application of dose reduction techniques will vary depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location and clinical practice. The Interventional radiologist, assisted by a physicist as necessary has to determine the appropriate settings for each specific clinical task.
