We have gone from an interactive catalogue to a real e-commerce platform!

In his twin capacity as Biomedical Manager and Logistics Manager at the Hôpital Privé d'Antony. Rémi Pharisier invited us to discuss his role. What are his needs? and how he uses Service Shop in his daily practice.

Professional use must be simple, intuitive and comparable with the "user experience" offered by the personal digital platforms that we use every day.

Rémi Pharisier: "e-commerce is developing fast and, as with my personal business, I need to be able to see products and their compatibility. In particular orders, i.e. price, delivery times and any ordering instructions”.

The user experience has evolved and the new Service Shop features today, meet a great number of his daily needs.

Rémi Pharisier: “We went from an interactive catalogue to a real e-commerce platform! At first, it was used as a simple catalogue. We enter the reference numbers for our products, check the price and place an order. With Ramsay, we could place our orders directly from the site, with the correct prices  that had been negotiated by central purchasing. At the same time, the site began to include spare parts, which further expanded what it could offer. And finally, with the keyword search, you can now find all types of products, including single-use ones, which were usually only found in pharmacies but are now available for biomedical use. So our teams save time and gain in efficiency."

As an experienced user of the platform, he also highlights other more unexpected aspects that make his daily life easier:

Rémi Pharisier: “One of the strengths is the ease of finding a product, even if you don't know what it is. If I ask someone who has never seen a monitor to order an SpO2 sensor, they can easily identify it with the search engine and a few keywords without knowing what it looks like. The other advantage is the immediate display of prices which allows instant comparison with other suppliers. And finally, the size of the catalogue and the search engine also make it possible to change a product if the original one is not available when I want to place my order."

To complete this feedback, he also mentions one final point which we must not ignore, that's the support for monitoring your budget:

Rémi Pharisier: “I do a monthly and sometimes even weekly budget review. So if I have several monitoring tools I can get mixed up, and it's very time-consuming to cross-reference the various pieces of information. With Service Shop everything is centralized, which avoids errors, making monitoring easier and saves me time."
