Flexible, scalable and reliable

ApexPro offers a wireless patient monitoring system operating with 25 KHz channel spacing within the 420.025 to 459.975 MHz frequency range. 

The system operates with a custom-designed infrastructure and filtering tailored to each hospitals unique RF environment and is designed to be fully redundant helping to protect against signal interference and dropout. 

With the CARESCAPE Telemetry T4 Transmitter and the CARESCAPE Network, you can monitor up to 438 patients across the coverage area depending on how many frequencies are available within the country to use for medical telemetry. This accommodates today’s requirements and helps ensure capacity for future expansion.

With ApexPro, vital patient details are available through a variety of information viewing devices to enable constant vigilance and workflow flexibility. In Combination Mode, a Dash* monitor at the bedside can display ApexPro telemetry waveforms alongside other vital signs, saving the time and inconvenience of disconnecting and reconnecting the patient to telemetry.   • ApexPro uses the GE EK-Pro* clinical algorithm, which processes and analyzes four independent, simultaneous ECG leads. Plus, an innovative Smart Leads Fail feature helps to reduce false ECG alarms   

  • With GE EK-Pro, ApexPro supports advanced atrial fibrillation detection and alarming

  • ApexPro has the capability to monitor two V-leads on each patient

  • Pace detection across two vectors improves the system’s ability to see and recognize a wide variety of pacemakers 

  • Longer operation time than average length of patient stay (3-4 days). ECG only (110 hours with 2 AA batteries) or ECG and SpO2 (50 hours with 2 AA batteries)  

  • The flexible design of ApexPro allows each transmitter to monitor continuously ECG and SpO2 when needed
