Splenic aneurysm treatment
Built from a legacy of solid innovations
Optima™ IGS 330 is built from tried and trusted GE technology. It empowers you to maneuver freely and acquire clinical images with the level of detail you choose for each procedure.
Trusted imaging technology
GE designs its entire portfolio of interventional systems from the ground up with the same tried and trusted all-GE imaging chain, optimized to provide the image clarity you need while helping you keep dose as low as possible. The proprietary angiography flat-panel detector offers Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE) among the highest in the industry.
Patented system flexibility
The flexible three-axis gantry offers excellent patient access from the left or right side. Additionally, you can position your monitors on both sides of the table for comfortable viewing of the images while you perform procedures. The SmartBox control lets you easily maneuver the system from the tableside. With the in-room browser, you can review a thumbnail display of acquired sequences directly on the in-room monitor for interactive tableside selection and review. And, with the press of a button, you can automatically transfer the angulation information and position the gantry to match the position from the review image.
With Smart Nav navigate easily through the menu displayed on the reference monitor next to the live image and use explicit icons to drive through main applications and functions.
The right tool for each clinical case
Optima systems provide excellent information on which to base clinical decisions. They are flexible enough to change easily when your procedural requirements do.
Head-to-toe clinical versatility
With its 31 cm (12.2 in) square flat-panel digital detector, the Optima IGS 330 is ideally suited to adapt to a mixed cardiology and peripheral vascular imaging environment. It combines capability for steep angulations without compromising detector coverage for larger anatomies.
Large choice of imaging capabilities
The Optima IGS 330 offers a wide range of acquisition possibilities to create the images you need to help you make sound clinical decisions. Blended Roadmap for example is a fast, easy, and potentially dose- and contrast-saving roadmapping application that lets you superimpose any Digital Subtrated Angiography (DSA) image with 2D fluoroscopy, helping you view the advancement of guidewires and devices through vessels. Plus, dose IQ customization provides different image-quality and dose strategies for the various clinical protocols in fluoroscopy and record acquisitions. You simply select the protocol that best suits the procedure.
Dedicated clinical applications
For diagnostic purposes, you can choose quantitative analysis tools for distance measurement, Stenosis Analysis (SA) or more advanced clinical applications to help you in more delicate cases. For percutaneous coronary interventions, StentViz provides excellent visualization of stent borders and details. Innova 3D provides a quick 3D rotational angiography acquisitions and reconstruction of the anatomy on the AW workstation. You can also reconstruct 3D volumes from two consecutive rotational acquisitions, displaying images to help you quickly visualize vessels without removing surrounding bone, tissue, and implanted devices with Innova Subtracted 3D.
A strong investment for your institution
Optima IGS 330 fits your immediate clinical needs and financial realities – while letting you add options later as your healthcare institution evolves.
Performance to compose with your environment
The Optima IGS 330 is a valuable asset for any hospital requiring diagnostic activities or that require a room to handle high-throughput routine procedures. It fits in small rooms, making it ideal where space is at a premium.
Remote and proactive system monitoring for maximum uptime
The Optima IGS 330 features the InSiteTM remote service platform, giving you live access to GE experts who can answer questions about system parameters and lend technical support. Optima system reliability is proven in some 300 installations worldwide with millions of hours of system uptime.
Scalable system grows with you
Today, the Optima IGS 330 is available with more than 30 options, from clinical applications to service contracts, upgradable at any time. For example, as you expand the scope of procedures you perform, you can include peripheral procedures with InnovaBreezeTM a subtracted peripheral vascular imaging technique that lets you follow the contrast bolus in real time using variable panning speed control imaging thin vessels with high quality. GE constantly invests in R&D to provide an even larger array of options to scale the system to your needs for tomorrow.
